Tourist Information Office
Here, visitors looking for any type of tourist-related information are attended to in a highly professional and personalized way. Customer service hours are from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6pm, and Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm. During the months of July and August, the timetable is from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm. We remain closed on the 1st January, 25th December and on the third Friday of May.
In the shop here you can find a wide range of crafts, souvenirs, maps, videos, guides and other tourist publications, food, typical products of Carmona, and so on.
Audiovisual and visiting area
In the Presos Altos (upper prisoner´s cell room or hall”), there is a permanent exhibition which will give a brief and comfortable overview of the monument.
In the Presos Bajo (“lower prisoner´s cell or hall”), meetings, weddings, congresses and conventions are held for a modicum price, charged only to ensure that maintenance costs are covered.
Many activities take place here, such as exhibitions, conferences, debates, and so on.
The Aljibes (“cistern or water tank”) courtyard provides an unrivalled setting for poetry readings, and the musical or theatrical performances which take place on autumn and spring evenings.
From the “Torre del Oro” – “Golden tower” – visitors can observe the enormous sea of whitewashed houses in Carmona.
